You're My Lobster + Farmhouse Chic

Farmhouse Chic in a Ballroom?  Is it even possible......that was the challenge.  I LOVE a challenge!
A downtown Phoenix Venue, hip, chic, fun, centrally located, a destination.  The Hotel Palomar fit the bill.  Trendy, gorgeous, new, and all the right colors, how convenient.  Gorgeous images by Courtney Sargent Photography.  Every couple has a story....their beginning, their courtship, and their marriage.  I am lucky enough to help them plan the beginning of their next chapter, and this couple captured my heart.  They are devoted to each other, their families and their friends.  A passionate love, and SO full of fun and personality.  I can't wait to see their lives develop as the years go by.  Best of luck, Kim and Ryan!

A custom Ombre Flower Backdrop created by Angela Saban Design (me) and pedestals wrapped in corrugated steel and topped with sheets of moss and antique urns, spilling over with gorgeous blooms and vines.

Tears were flowing during this very touching ceremony.

Custom menus using the invitation suite design were placed on each table and stamped with a special monogram by a very talented family member.

Kim's Grandma provided most of the antique containers used for the centerpieces on long, family style tables in the elegant ballroom.

The cake design was simple, elegant, and included the "honeycomb element" with lace embossing and gold edible painting.  The lobsters were creating using a custom mold and fondant.  Fresh red dahlias, mini daisies, and orchids finished the Farmhouse Chic theme.

Floral elements throughout were brought to life by Carte Blanche Design, Randi truly captured the wild and organic feeling that I dreamed of for this event.
The Farmer's Market Escort Display was a major focal point and design element for this event.  Consuming most of the lobby between ceremony and reception, this large display featured eggs, produce, herbs, vintage containers and custom produce signage listing guests names and table numbers by Angela Saban Design
